Ever wonder what the difference between cream face cleanser and a clear gel cleanser is? Here are some insights.
At MiSMo we stock two types of cleansers, Daily Face Wash, and
Natural Face Cleanser. Daily Face Wash is gel based and Natural Face Cleanser
is cream based. Both will effectively cleanse your skin but offer different benefits.
Daily Face Wash is an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) cleansing gel. No soap, fragrance or oil makes this an ideal cleanser for congested, acne prone skins.
Rosacea skin types will also benefit tremendously as this skin tends to have multiple layers of dead skin cells. Due to the Glycolic and Lactic Acid
content, this cleanser offers exfoliating qualities without beads or particles, which is exactly why it is advantageous for Rosacea skins.
The beauty of Daily Face Wash is that while it is a gel the effects are still gentle and non-drying.
Natural Face Cleanser is formulated using Olive, Macadamia, Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel Oil, Aloe Vera and MSM (Organic Sulphur). Sound natural – it certainly
This product gives a deep and hydrating cleanse and can be used safely around the eyes. Natural Face Cleanser also easily removes make-up, oily residue
and daily grime without stripping the skin’s essential natural oils.
Natural Face Cleanser is suitable for all skin types, especially dry or mature skins.
MiSMo offers two options as there are those who prefer a gel cleanser as opposed to a cream cleanser and vice versa. While they are both products that
can be used by any skin type, if you tend to have oily and acne prone skin our recommendation would be to use the Daily Face Wash as a preferred choice
Another very important aspect of face cleansers is the pH of the product. Here at MiSMo we are always very careful to keep the pH close to your skin’s
pH. This avoids excessive drying of the skin and being left with a tight feeling. Soap is usually very alkaline and drying so a no no.
Not sure which one to choose? Then simply contact MiSMo head office and one our beauty therapists will be on hand to provide expert advice. You can either

In case you are wondering why you even need to cleanse, here are a couple of reasons why:
- Cleansing and exfoliating are vital steps in anti-ageing.
- Clean skin allows better absorption of nutrients supplied by moisturisers and promotes renewal of skin cells while you sleep.
- Cleansing and exfoliating reduces blocked pores which lead to pimples and blackheads.
