MiSMo’s Cell Soother and ACE Serum are the best products for smoothing and reducing the appearance of scars.
How does it work?
The active ingredients in MiSMo Cell Soother include MSM and Organic Aloe Vera.
MSM – Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (also known as Organic Sulphur) is vital in maintaining sulphur bonds between proteins such as Keratin in the skin, which keeps skin looking healthy and reduces wrinkles where bonds between Keratin are weak. MSM also promotes the production of collagen which is responsible for supporting healthy skin cells. MSM not only helps to prevent the cross linking of collagen bonds that cause raised scarring, but also helps to dissolve existing scar tissue. This will help to lighten the appearance of scars, but also aid the prevention of scarring.
MSM helps to maintain flexibility and permeability of skin cells so they can easily absorb nutrients and get rid of toxins. This helps existing damaged cells to be repaired, but also promotes the production of new healthy skin cells to replace damaged tissue.
Organic Aloe Vera helps to soften and moisturise the skin and can help soften scar tissue as well as assist in new skin cell renewal.
If trying to reduce the severity of a scar after surgery, it is recommended to apply Cell Soother twice a day once stiches have been removed. After 10 days, to get the added benefit of strengthening the skin tissue, you can apply the ACE Serum after the Cell Soother for enhanced results.
MiSMo ACE Serum strengthens skin tissue through increasing collagen and elastin. Strengthening and thickening the skin will also help scars to be less visible. Vitamins A, C and E also aid in the repair of damaged skin cells.
The above method can be used to help treat any old or new scarring (including acne scarring), burns, bites, scratches and sunburn.
