The practice of Yoga helps you remain flexible, well balanced and calm, and if you practice Yoga on a regular basis you might be looking
for ways to improve your practice. Many people use additional exercise and healthy diet to help keep their bodies in better shape. Others include the addition
of supplements. One such supplement that many find beneficial is Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM).

Dietary Sulphur

MSM provides you with a supplement of dietary sulphur which is becoming more and more popular for a number of reasons. First, it assists with the management
of pain and second many are calling it the beauty mineral as it assists with skin, hair and nail health. Many people are unaware that sulphur occurs
naturally throughout the body, but the body cannot produce it on its own. Therefore we need to add it to our diets. Food alone is no longer enough
to provide us with sulphur and therefore we have to depend on a dietary sulphur supplement such as MSM powder.

MSM: Nature’s Anti-inflammatory

People who are very active, as well as those who suffer from chronic pain, especially of the joints, have discovered that MSM is nature’s anti-inflammatory.
It is very important in the development and maintenance of our tissue and can help excel the speed in which our body recovers from injury.

Yoga puts demands on the body due to the stretching and having strong ligaments and tendons as well as more flexible connective and soft muscle tissue
allows you to handle the over-stretching common during your Yoga practice.

Flexibility

MSM keeps muscles flexible while lessening the risk for injury, especially during the deep stretching of asanas. You can easily take MSM in pure powder
form, and increase fluidity of movement during your Yoga sessions. You will also experience less stiffness and in the case of pulls and strains you
will see a quicker healing process.

How to Take It

You can take MSM every morning dissolved in water.

For general wellbeing the recommended dose is between 2-8 grams daily. 4 g is approximately a level teaspoon.

Start with about ½ teaspoon in ½- 1 glass water or juice after breakfast. MSM tastes slightly bitter so extra water or juice can disguise the taste. A
little hot or warm water helps dissolve the powder quickly. If taking other supplements you can take them now.

We carry a pure MSM powder ideal
to aid in your Yoga practice.
