Experiencing Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) isn’t nice, especially when you are trying to get to sleep. It is a condition many people suffer from, with an
endless feeling of numbness together with prickling, tingling, and twitching that tends to occur mostly at night.
Why does Restless Leg Syndrome happen?
RSL has also been linked to magnesium deficiency which affects your nerves, blood vessels and muscles. Magnesium is an essential mineral needed to assist in the musculoskeletal system function. One of the many benefits magnesium offers is it helps your muscles to relax.
Unfortunately, due to soil degradation, a swing in diets towards more processed foods coupled with environmental changes, many of today’s society is depleted in Magnesium.
What can help Restless Leg Syndrome?
Magnesium baths as well as topical (on your body) application can help alleviate symptoms.
• Just add ¼ cup of Magnesium Chloride Powder in a bath.
• Make your own Magnesium Oil – Mix 50g of Magnesium Chloride Powder to 150ml distilled drinkable water and apply liberally to legs
• Alternatively, if you didn't want to make your own oil you could use Magnesium Gel Forte with MSM and apply to the affected area to relieve pain (As an added bonus you'll increase your Magnesium levels with each application)
