I have suffered a very painful knee since a tramping accident where I fell awkwardly onto rocks and gashed my shin and twisted my knee. Eventually the gash healed and with physio the knee seemed on the mend. Physio stopped after a number of treatments and I pretended all was well.
At first the pain in my knee was only noticed at night when I was in bed and trying to sleep but it was enough to interfere with sleep so I tried a support bandage at night and for awhile that provided relief and allowed me to sleep through. When I didn’t use it the niggly pain returned and then the pain began to be noticed by me during the day.
